2004
Despite not having a new album Suzanne Vega
resumed touring in 2004. After a very special concert in Milan's
Duomo and a couple of US gigs (where Suzanne tried two new,
and unfinished songs), Suzanne returned to Europe for another
Summer tour.
The band was, Mike Visceglia (bass) Billy Masters (guitar),
and Doug Yowell (drums), with the curiousity of, in the two
Dutch concerts, Suzanne's daughter, Ruby Froom, being featured
on cymbals on the song "Solitaire".
The set list comprised now also 3 covers "Behind Blue
Eyes" (Peter Townshend/The Who), "The Look of Love"
(Bacharach/David) and "Have You met Miss Jones"
(Hart/Rodgers). "Pilgrimage" returned to the set
after a long absence.
The opening act in Europe, when there was one, was most of
the times Martyn Joseph.
In August and September Suzanne vega played some more shows
in the US, and debuted the song "Unbound".
