1987
1987 was the year of stardom for Suzanne Vega,
with her first World Tour, in support of her top selling album
"Solitude Standing". Suzanne toured from April to
December, not only the North America and Europe, but also
in Japan and Australia.
Her live band was by then composed by the musicians that had
recorded the album: Marc Shulman on guitar, Mike Visceglia
on bass, Stephen Ferrera on drums, and Anton Sanko on keyboards.
From November onwards, Shawn Colvin was added to the band
as backing singer.
The live set included the whole new album, most of the
first album, and the non-album song "Left Of Center".
