Biography
Pete Thomas started forming his first music bands at the age of 10, attending to the Sussex Music School before moving to London in 1972, where he played in several bands, until, in 1977, he joined Elvis Costello, forming The Attractions. With his friend Steve Nieve, he did the Jonathan Ross TV show.

In the 90's Pete Thomas kept working as session musician to, among others, Badly Drawn Boy, Tracy Bonham, Jonatha Brooke, Johnny Cash, The Corrs, Sheryl Crow, The Dream Academy, Neil Finn, Mitchell Froom, Lisa Germano, John Wesley Harding, Joe Jackson, Los Lobos, Kristy MacColl, Joan Osborne, Vanessa Paradis, Pearl Jam, Bonnle Raitt, Ron Sexsmith, Vonda Shepard, Squeeze, Richard Thompson, Rufus Wainwright and The Waterboys.

In 2003 Pete Thomas was inducted into the prestigeous Rock and Roll Hall of Fame at a ceremony in New York.

Pete Thomas participated in the recording of "Nine Objects of Desire" (1996), joining the Suzanne Vega band in the tour that started in the end of 1996, and lasted throughout all 1997.
